What is Consignment?

Consignment refers to an arrangement where goods are placed in the care of a store until the item is bought by a buyer. Below is Semper Smithing’s Consignment Contract that must be signed before we agree to sell a product on your behalf. If you have a product you wish to sell stop in the shop during business hours and we will get you started!

Consigner agrees to place the items listed on consignment with Semper Smithing LLC to sell them under the terms of this agreement. Semper Smithing LLC agrees to accept the items listed for consignment sale under the terms of this agreement. The Consignor agrees to grant the exclusive right to Semper Smithing LLC to market, advertise and sell the item(s) listed. Semper Smithing LLC will inspect all of the items listed in this agreement, and will determine condition and functionality. Semper Smithing LLC will write up the description and specifications necessary in order to offer the item(s) for sale. The consignment fee shall be 20% of the selling price of the item. When the item(s) consigned are sold and final payment is made by the buyer, the Consignor will receive the net amount within 30 days via business check at the convenience of Semper Smithing LLC. The Consignor agrees that Semper Smithing LLC is required to complete all inspections and specifications, prepare the items for sale, and advertise the item(s). If the Consignor chooses to terminate the consignment, the Consignor agrees to pay the cleaning and inspection fee reflected off of Semper Smithing LLC’s service menu. If the Consignor decides to have consigned items returned, Federal Law requires that the Consignor fill all appropriate ATF forms and pass the NICS background check as if they were purchasing the firearm(s).
